Pop-Up City

Another project I worked on as a cabinetmaker and carpenter for Simon Bush-King Architecture (https://simonbushking.com/). Located in Amsterdam Noord, Pop-Up City is a work and event space. The idea of the walls were to create a giant “peg board” so as to adjust shelving or hanging rods to a desired height and place. The walls were panelled with grey valchromat and the cabinets were made using poplar with valchromat doors. The bench seat was made also from poplar. The work tables were made from birch plywood with the end grain left exposed
